OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
If you would like to serve in ministry according to your gifts and talents, we encourage you to seek God’s place for you at West Isle.
Greeters welcome, pass out church bulletins and attendance books, collect the offering and are responsible for kitchen clean up following fellowship. If you would like to serve in this way, please contact Merri Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ordained elders are encouraged to take part in serving the elements of communion. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact Merri Edwards at email@example.com.
Ordained elders are encouraged to take part in leading the congregation during the Sunday service. If interested, please sign up on the sheet posted on the bulletin board in the kitchen.
If you have a few hours a week you are willing to give to help in the church office, your work would be greatly appreciated. Contact Dr. Bob Bullock at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Altar flowers are delivered from a florist each week. If you are interested in placing flowers on the altar in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special occasion, you may do so. Contact a Session member for more information on special requests. If you want a commemoration acknowledged in the church bulletin, please let us know by signing the sheet posted on the bulletin board in the kitchen or contact Esther Sjostrom at least two weeks ahead of time.
Sunday school teachers are needed for primary classes (ages 6 and younger). Class leaders teach one Sunday a month during church service. Sunday school materials are provided. If you feel led to be a part of this ministry, contact Beth Shriner.
Attendants are needed for the nursery and will be assigned to one Sunday a month, available before and during church service. If interested, contact Beth Shriner.
The choir is open to anyone wishing to raise a voice in praise to the Lord. Choir rehearsal is every Sunday morning at 8:45AM in the Sanctuary. For more information, please contact Angelo or Crystal Tolentino.
If God has given you the gift of communicating easily with children, you may want to consider giving the children's sermon during Sunday services. It is a wonderful way to share your love of Jesus with young disciples who are just learning about the Bible. Please contact Dr. Bob if you are interested.
